Santa Barbara's Challenging Half-Marathon takes you from the famous Santa Barbara Friendship Dolphins Fountain at the edge of Stearns Wharf, past the "Queen of the Missions" and on up an elevation of 3996 feet to the Majestic views at La Cumbre Peak. Capture the panaramic layout of the city, SB Channels and the Channel Islands. You can see where you started from 13.1 miles (sealevel) earlier.

I agree to abide by any decision of an event official relative to my ability to safely participate. I assume all risk associated with this Run Santa Barbara event including but not limited to the effects of weather, traffic, conditions of the roads, race course, all risk being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of acceptance of my entry, I , for myself and anyone entitled on my behalf, waive and release, CAEA, City, County and all governing bodies, agencies and all sponsors, their representative and successors and all organizers from all claims and liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this Run Santa Barbara event. Acceptance of the event bib is an acknowledgement of this release. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for legitimate purposes.
