Questions that come in today (Friday) I will answer in Saturday's final P2P info e blast...
1. When you check in
you can only get YOUR packet2. You should
have a copy of your registration in the event we do not have you listed...it happens
3. Have a
photo I.D.4. I hope to be at State & A the entire time and will be there if
any question comes up...you will need to see me...Jake Clinton, the director, the volunteers do not have details and CAN NOT make decisions on thier own (in regards to P2P that is...)
5.
Packet Pickup Saturday 4-7p.m. at 1201 Sate Street: the State & A Restaurant.
6.
Porta Potties at miles 4 and 7.5, and at the finish
7.
Open Course, Traffic is live, be cautious...stay to the curbs and roads edges...this course is not coned...but try as you may to stay within 2-3 feet of the curb wherever and when eve possible.
NO PASSING ON 192 ...single file...about 1/4th of a mile8. Walkers must obey traffic lights, and stay on sidewalks and do not walk 3-4-5-abreast...you become a wall when you do that...if you are walking as a group rotate the lead positions but not more than two abreast
9. Runners MUST start at 6:30, a walkers wave will go at 6 a.m.(check inwith Wally by 5:50 a.m. the VW van) but will not be included in the age categories for the race.10. Have fun, enjoy the views...P2P is not just a half marathon ...it is an experience.
Thanks, Jake
